Gatchaman The Shooting (Battle Of The Planets). How is it?

I just came across this game but can't seem to find any actual info on the gameplay and quality of this game. Apparently it also goes under the "G-Force" name.

It looks beautiful, but is it any good and worth getting?
Any info is appreciated!

I've played it, IMO its craptacular. It's just no fun, and you have a lifebar. The graphics look good in screenshots, but look like Bokan to Ippatsu (sp?) when the game is running, and plays similarly...but worse.

I was excited about it when I ordered it but was significantly underwhelmed when I played it. Nothing special by any stretch of the imagination.

Are there any anime cutscenes? If so I'd prolly buy it if I had a modded PS1.

Static screens, no animation. The game looks good but has a lot of problems including slowdown and repetition of certain stages. *-neo

The game came out as a 2000 yen bargain release... you get what you pay for
