Thanks to the PS2 port I can consistently reach Hibachi (loop 1), but Ketsui... damn, Stage 3 and the Vindogradov literally destroy me every time.

Nevertheless, these games are so good it hurts (again, literally).

Maybe because all this is still unofficial, not yet (but soon) condemned by Cave, nor endorsed officially by Mame, and people here hack happily to avoid paying for the 5pb conversion released a few months ago

You were silly to believe you would gather sympathy for your argument. The rabid dogs were always gasping for that ROM to be released.

Look at the bright side, you have learned who to watch out for now. If you did invest in PCB's or the 360 game, perhaps next time you should buy it after the event. If your loyalty is to Caves bank balance buy some 360 ports in the future and download the Ketsui Rom anyway.

It´s not just a matter of playing it without having to pay for it, but I always prefer (good) emulation that runs on almost any PC setup out there and can be tweaked easily in any way I want over ports that need patches and updates, run on hardware I have to import from Japan, that may or may not break down when I sneeze at it, and run with all kinds of crazy filters forced onto them.
