2nd loop Japanese replay of TRUXTON 2 on Youtube

Post by Mills »

Someone needs to upload here. ITS THE SICKEST PIECE OF HIGHSPEED PATTERN DODGING IVE SEEN TO DATE! Some sections look boring then it gets super intense.

Are you referring to jblx3's Tatsujin Ou run?
http://www.youtube.com/user/jblx3

Here's a full set of loop 2 videos on Nico. The player has to continue in the last stage, but it's extremely impressive nonetheless.

Yeah they are.

Mills, if you still want uploads, I put the loop 2 videos here: 1 2 3 If they don't play in your normal player, use mplayer or vlc.

Many thanks to those members who posted the replays here. My head was just spinning around trying to keep up with all that intense highspeed movement, and with the game of that intensity for that duration commands alot of respect to anyone that managed to loop that game once let alone twice.

Cheers for the upload Enhasa, I don't have access to nico at the moment.

Those vids are pretty wild

That player jblx3 also has a sweet Kingdom Grandprix 2-ALL replay on his youtube channel which is well worth a watch.

I haven't actively browsed/used this forum in many years and it's no longer an accurate representation of me.

I have retired from genre-specific content creation after 13 years, but I'll always love this little genre in my own personal way.

The recovery early in the second Tatsujin Ou video (highway bit) is amazing. The game chucked an absolute shitstorm of enemies and bullets at him there.

It does trigger infinite lives without B autofire, as far as I can tell. Sure, shit for score, though.

I'm guessing you didn't read my post, all three youtube video descriptions, or the fact that this isn't a superplay thread.

Like this.

I know they're from nico, thank you. I stated that in my post here, in all three youtube videos which I uploaded (fuck, I even stated it in Japanese). This thread isn't restricted to superplays only.

i didn't say that you didn't know they were from nico. i said that *all* pink sweets videos on nico, including the one you re-uploaded, are not worth watching.

Is the infinite lives bug that easy to trigger? That player gets THREE 1-UPs on stage 3 alone...and the game only seems to get tough on stage 5.

Way to jump down my neck for cross-loading random vids in my own free time.

it wasn't anything personal against you, just that there are literally no good pink sweets videos out there. there was a stage 3 video of Harder Mode and a stage 5 video (normal mode) with medal-chaining and high rank, which are the only compelling ones (but sadly these were from blogs and got removed quite quickly). i think half the reason why people don't get into this game more is because all the low-rank vids make it look so dull.

if you wanna re-upload some more, there's this one:
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm497447

player accesses a hidden code which allows stage select. there are seven stages in the game, selecting stage 8 gives you a boss rush mode

or, as all the youtube videos only show the first few stages, a complete run:
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm433111
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm439870
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm445007

ruldra: yes, it's triggered once you collect four 1ups without a death. but he is avoiding all medals and not using his bomb which keeps the difficulty low.

Sweet little low-rank run. Thanks for the find.

It's a fairly recent upload (16th April '09) so it probably slipped under a lot of people's radars since Pink Sweets isn't all that popular here, and I myself haven't checked for new footage for quite some time. Nice to see AZI was still playing the game, and the rank-controlled way too.
