I got bored of it. I have some of the videos backed up, though.

Do you have to do 500 sit-ups a day or pay protection money for the videos to sit there? I perceived YouTube accounts as a way to dump content and let it fester.

Rob was the voice of reason in a community stuck on their lame pets' tricks and amateur videos........

I don't like doing that, obviously. Fester is a good word choice.

I haven't watched it yet, but it's probably horrible.

I actually watched this video review a couple of months ago, and I thought it was well done. Yea, the guy even refers to the game/genre as a "SHMUP"!
I figured that was weird in a cool way because I don't think that he is a regular member here...perhaps?
Anyway, its cool to see shmups getting some credit, as well as being released in the STATES!!! Then again, you can see anything on youtube.
On this note, I still need to get Raiden III.

I was right, that review was long-winded and didn't offer the criticism Raiden 3 deserves. Now I've watched that review twice. :(

It must be heartbreaking to see this thread bumped, clicking on it and expecting another excellent review. Sad. Someone should do reviews.

Rare footage of PS1 Stahlfeder:

Other then the fact that it looks ridiculously easy (which has never stopped me before  ), I don't personally see what's so bad about it. Of course, that was just the first stage.

Some good videos of Wolf Fang:

I just made a video of me single credit clearing the first loop of Cosmic Cop/Gallop - Armed Police Unit. It's enjoyable to watch, and maybe some of you haters will soften up on it after seeing how to defeat some of its "impossible" bosses. 8)

Here's the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rFIOOG-zEI
A link to the second half of the movie should be in the video responses.

I think its review on this site is a crime, and the only thing I really would fault it for is being too short. It is a memorizer though, through and through, so if you don't like those you'll absolutely hate it.

I think with a little more practice I could 1-life this.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

So I was sifting through YT and found a fair amount of Phalanx stuff, mostly from the Sharp X68000 version. Sorry if any of it has been posted here before.

A CG Movie (no sound until 1:50), where the first bit seems to explain some of the backstory and the rest looks like a neat CG version of the X68k opening.

cityconnectionjapan's videos of Phalanx X68000 gameplay (choppy video).
The game's relatively standard ending (also chopperiffic video).

You could use KeepVid. After using that to download YT clips, you'll need to open them with an FLV player.
