Whip / Plump - maybe that's why they choose that Sonim chick as testimonial...
So we're looking at a fat dominatrix fetish game now? 6_9 Maybe the dominatrix rides in a chariot drawn by flying pigs that need to be whipped to unleash the bomb. 9_6

Seriously, Cave. This IS a shmup tribute to Porco Rosso, right? Riiight...?
That would also be awesome.
I say bring on the fresh meat!
STG Weekly!, 1cc's, twitch, XBL: DJ Aquazition The in-game papers prove that being the paperboy is actually a position of the greatest importance,

From the what little information I've seen about this game I think I've pretty much got it summed up.
In fact I've just finished imagining going down the arcade and playing it.
I'll give it 6/10.
What was level 3 all about, come on Cave sort it out. I know you can do better than this.

That sounded pretty interesting, too bad it is no free game. I'd love to try this one out.
Still Cave's new game could look and play like everything, so I think it's pretty fast to jump to any conclusions yet. That said, I'd say yay for a new parody game, it would be simply ace if it makes fun of known shoot'em ups. Therefore I'll give it 8/10, i liked how they paid homage to all those classics.
I'm laughing may arse off over here. 2 pages of people bitching about this, and there hasn't even been a screenshot released, let alone actual gameplay.
This is shmups.com at it's finest. There's even a goddamn review of the game up already! HAHAHA!
This place will never change. I hope someone does regular snapshotting of this whole board so that they can show the children of the distant future what internet forums used to be like.
I know I know... lets start complaining about Cave's 2008 release! Surely we can beat them to the punch by actually whining about something not even announced yet!
Cave releasing a new game sounds amazing and all, but the only chance of me actually getting to play it any time soon is a console release. The future seems dim.

We're talking about making assumptions from a picture of a silhouette of a pig. Trying to second guess what Cave games will be like in 2008 would just be ridiculous.

The irony of this is that this will be less embarrassing to play than Cave's back catalog since Mushihime-sama.

Obviously this shows that we cannot have more than one joker in this tiny industry.

It seems to me that Cave is starting a pattern by getting commercial success with popular manic shmups (typical Cave output) to be able to produce more experimental, risky titles like Ibara, Pink Sweet, as now this one. However this may turn out, we all should be happy that they don´t release endless waves of Mushi/Espgaluda sequels.
