I had the opportunity to try this game in two player mode and was pleasantly surprised to see how forgiving it was. If both players are on their last life, the game will always drop another life when one of you dies. I just think the life should bounce further up the screen though. If a player dies at the bottom of the screen, the life can go off screen almost instantly.
