Gradius IV Mod Tool

Not sure whether to post this here or the hardware forum, but I have released a mod tool that generates a customized program rom for Gradius IV.
It's mostly aimed at PCB users but it works in MAME if you want to do that.

You can add:

Stage/Loop Select
Auto Rapid Fire
Stage 9 Continue
Display up to 24 lives
Up to 253 lives in test mode
Display Loop/Stage in upper right
Pause Function (1P Start Button).
Get full powerup during pause by pressing A+B+C.

I wish I could run Gradius IV smoothly on my PC

MAME still run the game like shit even with NASA PC, latest ver has major graphical glitches in most part. You could run PCSX2 or PPSSPP with Gradius III and IV or Gradius Collection, but I recall PPSSPP have input lag that makes shmups unplayable.
