I was on Twitter and I saw a post from Elixir linking to a Space Invaders/Steam teaser.
Anyone know anything about this? Any rumours about which games are heading to Steam?
Personally, I'd really love Extreme 1, 2 and Infinity Gene to see a release on PC... Maybe a new game?
Here's the teaser site if anybody's interested.

Nothing official yet other than the teaser site.
Knowing Square-Enix have been porting their mobile games to PC (Romancing SaGa 2 just came out the other day), it'll likely be a port of any of their mobile titles, maybe Arkanoid vs Space Invaders.

AvSI was successful enough to get into Japan's Top 5 Mobile Game list this year, so this is the most likely case.

Yeah, you're probably right. I learned that the game was built in the Unity engine so it's probably a cakewalk to punt it out onto PC.

Cool beans. Wishlisted for day one purchase.
I hope this leads to more Taito stuff showing up over time. Being an optimist, I'm taking the fact that it's the first SIE being released as a sign of things to come... afterall, there is the sequel.

Never heard about Groove Coaster but I like Space Invaders Extreme a lot.
Have it on Xbox 360 but will likely get it on Steam for convenience

Will keep my eyes on this one. I only played the DS versions but I remember really enjoying them, so I look forward to this.

Groove Coaster is basically a Space Invaders themed rhythm game. Some of it's updates include tracks from other Taito games.
The two Extreme games were some of my favorite titles on the DS.

Why not Infinity Gene instead? Considering its now removed.
Groove Coaster is good. Nice to see it gets release outside of arcades and smartphones.

Well, that's a thing.

Probably (and hopefully) they wanted to bring back the games one by one starting from Extreme series.

Incredibly fun game and the best of the series along with the also great "Space Invaders '95 - The Attack of Lunar Loonies".

I'll be curious to find out whether it's based on the PSP version or the 360 one. Original was best, IMO.

Now released. This time Degica takes into the hands of Taito's legendary game.
At this rate, I won’t be interested into shmups anymore. I am no longer going to be active in this forum from now on. I am more interested into Kemono Friends, rhythm games, D4DJ, Puzzle Games, Hololive, and Pretty Cure.
Farewell.

If only Space Invaders Extreme 2 could get a Steam port as well...

Is it crippled with DRM? It's Degica, so I assume the answer is yes. Ah well, good thing my DS still works.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

I really hope they aren't doing that thing where they'll only port the much better game that is Infinity Gene if this one does well or something. That game was lit! Let me know when that one is ported.

This. We need that game, because it was so awesome.
