It's from 12/28-12/30. Apparently Cave is renting out the 5th floor of the Hey Arcade for those three days. You'll be able to play DDP Campaign Version (they say it's a "special arrange version", not sure if it's different from the normal DDP Campaign PCB), and compete for Mushi Futari version 1.5 high scores-- the winner of the Mushi Futari 1.5 hi score competition will win a PCB and other goods (!!!). They will also be selling rare Cave items, including a fresh reprint of DDPDOJ/Ketsui and Espgaluda OSTs, and lots of arcade posters! If you're in Japan, don't miss it. Once in a lifetime event.

Remember one thing: I like Mushi A LOT. I'm ready to buy almost anything about that (the first Mushi) :)
Good luck for with that shirt (though I think you'll receive some heavy hugs from Yagawa)

Someone should sneak in a gun and steal DDP Campaign version to rip the ROM.

Like that will ever happen...sigh, we'll just have to be happy & content with the standard Dodonpachi arcade PCB till that day comes..... ^_~

Security will very heavy and it'll a take a small covert group of highly organized & armed to the teeth in armored-piercing laden weaponry endowed sexy 'n' busty femme-fatale hotties aka the "DDP-Special Campaign Liberators Front" to pull such an armed arcade PCB heist -- wanna bet how that's gonna be pulled off? Plus, a little revealing T&A won't hurt to get 'em big boys all hot 'n' flustered, hmmm? (Wink-wink) ^_~

PC Engine Fan X! ^_~

So anyone know if they are talking about a reprint of Dodonpachi II/Dodonpachi OST or the Dodonpachi/ESPrade OST? The latter would be tight.

They're not talking about either. Only DDPDOJ/Ketsui and Espgaluda are getting reprints. All the OSTs from the games that came after those (Ibara, Mushi, etc) will be available there for sale as well.

I will be in your cheering section. I suck at DDP. I'm supposed to go to Osaka that weekend for some work bullshit, but I might blow it off (or go a day or two early). Thursday will probably be the best day.

that's good! especially the ESPgaluda ost as i refuse to pay 15k to 20k yen for a cd. hope they will make their way to play-asia as well so i can buy one, too.

regardless this seems like an interesting festival. to all those who are going there: have an indulgent time!

Seconded. You hear me, people! Grab all the Cave posters for me (and any Raizing ones lying around) and you will have a nice wad of cash and my eternal gratitude in return. ^_-

And pics! If you can sneak a camera in, some photos of the Mushi Futari compo and general stuff would be pretty sweet.
