played a credit just to get some action in the table, no chaining whatsoever except the 1000 chain at the gauntlet of stage 2.

playing DDP back to back with DOJ is no good idea so excuse me if i take a leave again to finish my quest for the 2nd loop of regular DDP before i come back to this.

glad theres a separate HS thread for it tho, will definetly come back for a 1CC in this!

Stored like 4 hypers, had about an inch of life left on the stage 3 boss... you know I ran into that shit. Not sure if would've helped that much. My stage 4 chaining is dismal.

First time: First bullet
Second Time: Second mid boss (the one w/ the big fireballs... I hated that fucker in DDP, I hate him now.

nope. and if you play 2-loops, after you take down the stage 5 boss, you still have the choice of entering the 2nd loop, or just calling it a day.

1 loop mode was introduced so it's easy for players to regularly face off against hibachi

Yeah.. that whole part is just ugly. Up until then, I can kinda muster up a few big chained parts, and will likely be able to connect it all soon. Even the latter half of stage 4 isn't that hard to chain in comparison.

stage 4 is way harder to chain than even stage 5. i can't do that diagonal stuff yet. or chaining in and out of the 1-up section

Yeah, Ikeda's a dick when it comes to stage 4 in a 5 stage game. Mushi and Mushi Futari as well have hard-to-score stage 4's.
