Hi I am trying to emulate scan line with "v-line" turned on. I want to stretch my picture so that there are no black bars in top of my picture. I am running 720 p output because I heard scan line s line up properly but they do not when I stretch my vertical width. Can someone tell me how to remedy my situation?
Using mini on panasonic 1080p led tv
Thanks

You can't do that. In order to get properly spaced scanlines, you must not touch the vertical sizing.

Shucks
it must be an emulated scan line problem. My crt tv never had a problem when I adjusted my under scan.
So there is no way around perfect pixels and black borders? I'm just gonna have to used to it? Say it ain't so ..

you can do the same on your LCD - if you got an overscan option. My crt tv never had a problem when I adjusted my under scan.
The way the Mini works (upscaling plus scanline emulation), it only works with integer scaling (240p x 3 = 720p). If you need EXTERNAL overscanning you need a XRGB + secondary processor (e.g. a DVDO).
