Alright, let's see your desktop! For those that don't know how to take screenshots of your desktop, follow these steps listed below:

1. Clear away any clutters you have on your desktop.
2. Press 'Print Scrn' key.
3. Open your photo-editing program; i.e. Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro.
4. Open a new document, and paste it there.
5. Save it, and upload it to your photo account / hosting service. (For those who don't have any hosting, use http://www.imageshack.us)
6. Post in this thread.
7. ...
8. Profit.

Edit: To keep the bitching out of this thread, please link (or create a thumbnail to link) to a large resolution photo of your desktop.

Here's mine. The photo is one I took back in late February at a local park:

(The original is resized down a bit since I run at 1600x1200 resolution, which may be a bit high for some people.

You can get it at ikaruga.co.uk in a couple different versions and sizes.

How do you do the thumbnail link to a photobucket pic?

Actually, I just took a high resolution image of my desktop, and resized it down to a smaller size and saved it as 'thumbnail.jpg' instead of 'background.jpg' and, voila, a thumbnail link. It's easy, but a pain in the ass process, but if you want a better method, I'd suggest Imageshack.us for that.

Hey Accutron, thanks for the wallpaper. I have a small request though: could you post a version of it without the Ikaruga characters?

Okay, what exactly do you mean? Like just the pic of the ship and the logo? You want the black vertical lines? I need details.

I think you've misunderstood me. I didn't mean the characters from the game, I meant the "Ikaruga" characters in the second panel from the right. :P Thanks!

Now you know.

Character design by one of my top 3 favorite artists, mr. Range Murata. Pretty good anime too...it has a shmuppy Progear feel to it.

I changed my desktop just for this occasion.

Edit: Re-hosted on Imageshack. Photobucket really needs to increase their image limit. That or I need to start saving my images in .jpg.

I seemed to have the same thing upon first trying, but when you press the button you should go immediately to your picture/photo editing program, then select "new" in the (usally called) file menu and then paste.

Sometimes it's nice to learn these new and handy things. :D

I used to have that wallpaper, except I swapped out that 'Ikaruga' logo with the one of 'Ikaruga' above a box with Japanese characters inside it. Makes it look nicer, IMO.

Everyone: Yikes, I didn't think I'd get this many responses! If anyone wants to make a request to get a clean version of desktop wallpaper without the icons and taskbar, go ahead and ask here. I'm sure someone in here is willing enough to hook you up with one.

For those who haven't posted yours here yet, get to postin' your desktop!

Oh, man... Gotta love it when someone posts up a Linux desktop screenshot. Makes me wish I was still running my Linux OS, instead of this crap called Windows XP. :(
