And yeah creepy- the presentation of these games in general makes me feel a bit mentally ill but I guess that's part of the appeal :D

And in another fast move Gustav's fixed all the new problems with Odd Mobs.
He also says he's watching this thread but doesn't want to post cos his English isn't good enough and he has to use google translate...

I'm very interested in how he does the scoreboard code-wise. Probably made the system himself considering Game Maker's crude highscore functions (Nimitz did an excellent job internalising it in GMOSSE but it still has its limits, ie. being local to a computer using registry/systemfiles somewhere to save it).

That's Odd Mobs Rainbow Label, the one he did prior to DoTonPachi. If that game is anything to go by DoTonPachi's new arrange version is going to be his best work yet. It should've been obvious that eventually he'll do a eXtra mode of sorts for DoTonPachi considering the videos he's got uploaded of what I think is DOJBLEX.

In X mode you can just hyper > absorb bullets which recharges your hyper > hyper again forever, I think it's broken? I don't know though maybe that is supposed to happen. I don't understand any of these games and as this simply gives me reason to believe I'm sane I'm not worrying about it.

Sounds like a copy (or parody) of the X-Mode arrange from Dodonpachi Daioujou Black Label EX for the 360, which is pretty much exactly that if you're playing it right.

Ha ha- these games have the opposite effect on me and make me feel a bit more mentally ill than I already am!
So are the differences between DMO White and DMO Black gonna be the same as the differences between DOJ and DOL BL then- I'm kinda guessing yes :D

Here is the gist of the mode information out of the manual.

White - same as before
Black - easy modo
X mode - endless hyper laser fever. Only one loop, with Hibachi (Billy Herrington's disembodied head) at the end.
Death rabel - boss rush

Code:

The story is roughly:

The two Koreas unified and entered a space age, and Vatsug industries found a couple of alien fighters buried on the moon and started making more. The unified government made a secret deal with them and took over the world. A long time passed and the government lost contact with some of the military on the Korean peninsula, fighters started attacking from all over, and all the important government people got assassinated. The army is all disorganised and things are looking bad, but Colonel Yui Merhite organises the survivors, says everything's the work of what used to be North Koreans, and starts up operation "Wipe out the Reds".

There's probably stuff I'm missing since I'm not good at Korean.

Thanks! I edited my post to fix the hyper duration, I totally double checked the dictionary then wrote the wrong word anyway. I left x mode because the manual says normal... it definitely is longer though.

I thought I recognised some of the memes, really glad someone cleared that up because it would have bugged me for ages otherwise. Also, I know about Park Dae-ki but I don't know what is with the A type guy, would you be able shed some light on that?

게임중 Q - 하이퍼가 0으로 된다

모드 선택 후 기체 선택 메뉴에서 5 - 케츠이의 동전 넣는 소리가 들린다. 그뿐이다.

일반 메뉴에서 Q - 지금까지 쌓아둔 모둔 업적과 점수가 초기화된다

Ctrl+Alt+Delete 연속 두번 - 컴퓨터가 안식을 취한다
->ctrl+alt+del twice -your com will RIP :%
게임중 Alt - 게임 일시정지. 다른 아무 키를 누르면 다시 재개된다
