Well, the wording was "and seen occasional licensed ports(but few western releases) on home consoles". So, it's not quite accurate.

Yes, Casey Loe's context is somewhat misleading.

Sweet article. It's about as accurate as one could have hoped for, I think.

I'm definitely interested in grabbing this particular issue. However, I'm in Canada so the chance of seeing this locally is probably slim to nil. Someone wanna help secure a copy for me? I'll cover for all expenses (somehow).

I haven't found it in any stores here, either, but for you or anyone else who wants a print copy, they can be ordered directly from the magazine's online store.

https://www.pubservice.com/PYStore/Showgroups.aspx

Click on Play Magazine from the left column, and you can purchase previous editions in digital or print form. They will ship internationally, though I'm not sure to what extent.

For what it's worth, it's a pretty decent print magazine these days. I always enjoy when it shows up in ye ole mailbox.

Anyone out of state still looking for one of these? I picked up an extra while I was picking up mine.

Edit: Meant to say, "out of the states" ;) Whoops.

Play magazine is stocked in them local grocery stores as well, it just depends on if the magazine vendor stocks it on the magazine shelf or not. Might as well check & see if your grocery stores carry the cool Play magazine. ^_~
